Teaching Assistant

Location: North London

Pay: £95-£110 per day

Contract: Long-term to permanent

Start Date: September 2025

Long Term Futures is partnering with several welcoming and well-resourced primary schools across North London to recruit Teaching Assistants for the new academic year. We have opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with roles including whole-class support, SEN assistance, behaviour mentoring, and targeted intervention delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting pupils in class through tailored one-to-one or small group activities

Implementing behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment

Assisting with lesson planning and adapting resources to meet diverse needs

Monitoring and recording pupil progress to contribute to assessment and target-setting

Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff

Ideal Candidate Profile

Previous experience in a primary school or early years setting (paid or voluntary)

Recent graduates with a relevant degree encouraged to apply

Understanding of the primary curriculum and child development

A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach to school life

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
