About the Role:

As a Secondary School Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Working closely with teaching staff and the SEND department, you will assist in delivering engaging lessons, provide 1:1 and small group support, and help maintain a positive learning environment for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students with a range of abilities, including those with SEND

Assist teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons

Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning

Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, respectful learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with young people in an educational setting (school, tutoring, youth work)

A genuine passion for supporting secondary-aged students

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic

The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
