Description

A primary school in South Liverpool are looking for a Teaching Assistants to start in September. At this school, students are encouraged to take ownership of their personal development and behavior, build positive relationships, and become valued members of society. The main responsibilities for a Teaching Assistant are to:

Support students with their socio-emotional engagement with learning and promote independence in a safe environment.

Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for each student.

Promote the inclusion of all students, so that all have equal opportunities to feel included and to contribute to school life.

*

Create a supportive and relaxed working environment that makes students feel happy and secure.

*

Implement the positive behaviour approaches set out by the school, including Restorative Practice and Zones of Regulation.

Ideal candidates will have a good understanding of ASD and Moderate Learning Difficulties in the classroom, as well as the theory underlying nurture provision. The successful candidate will receive support, guidance and excellent future career prospects.

Teaching Assistant Details

Full Time, Term Time

Teaching Assistant Rate: £89 - £96 per day

Teaching Assistant Working hours: 8:30am-3:30pm

Contract: Temp to Permanent
