Location: Oldham

Salary: £110 - £140 per day (depending on experience)

Job Type: Full time, (permanent contract for the right candidate)

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently working with popular Secondary Schools in Oldham who are recruiting for Cover Supervisors to join their ranks into the new academic year starting in September 2025!

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage secondary school students during teacher absences, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.

Deliver pre-set lesson plans and maintain classroom discipline at the secondary school level. Foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere where secondary school students can thrive academically.

Adapt to a variety of subjects and year groups within a secondary school setting as required.

Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure the smooth running of the secondary school day.

Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.

Requirements:

Availability from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Strong behaviour management skills are essential, particularly in a secondary school context.

Flexibility to cover a range of secondary school subjects and year groups.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact in a secondary school environment.

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a secondary school, is a plus.

An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position, or willingness to obtain one
