Location: Wombwell

Pay Rate: £95 – £110 per day (depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to work in schools in the Wombwell area. As a TA, this role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about education and enjoy working closely with children and young people to support their learning and development.

Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:

Supporting students with their learning under the guidance of the class teacher.

Providing one-to-one or small group interventions as needed.

Helping to create a safe and engaging learning environment.

Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support.

Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) when required.

Requirements for Teaching Assistant:

Previous experience working in a school or with children/young people is desirable.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

A patient, positive, and proactive approach to learning support.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.

A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
