Teaching Assistant (SEND) - Long Term to start ASAP Long Term

Lancaster, Mainstream Secondary School

Full Time Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.30pm

GBP89-GBP100 per day

Must have experience working in a Secondary School

Possibly of Temp to Perm Contract for the right candidate

Tradewind are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream Secondary School in Lancaster. You will need to be flexible across general classroom cover as well as supporting pupils with additional learning needs, challenging behaviour and physical disabilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting teachers in the classroom, providing support to individual students, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. They will have experience working with students with ASD and SEMH needs and be able to adapt their teaching approach to meet the unique needs of each student. Preferably experience working in a Secondary school setting.

Duties will include:

Assisting teachers in the classroom and providing support to individual studentsHelping to create a positive and inclusive learning environmentAdapting teaching approach to meet the unique needs of each studentWorking with students with ASD and SEMH needsCollaborating with teachers and other staff to develop and implement individualised education plans Qualifications:
