We’re recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across a number of welcoming and well-run primary schools in York. These roles are perfect for someone who wants to feel part of a team, contribute meaningfully to children’s development, and build strong relationships with pupils and staff.

As a TA, your role is hands-on and heart-first—you’ll be helping children with their learning, supporting routines throughout the day, and offering a calm, encouraging presence when things feel tricky. You might be reading with small groups, helping manage behaviour during lessons, or supporting a child 1:1 with their emotional regulation.
