£13 - £15 per hour (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

We are looking for a part-time Teaching Assistant on behalf of a primary school in Hebburn. The successful Teaching Assistant will be expected to deliver both general as well as one-to-one support, working as part of an established team in the Key Stage 1 section of the school. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 12pm. This school operates within an ethos emphasising both caring and quality support to deliver an excellent pupil development programme. The school is ideally seeking a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant, however would be open to other teaching qualifications and experience if relevant.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

Experience of working with primary school aged children

Experience of working with children with SEND

A passion for ensuring the progress of pupils

An ability to work as part of a team

Ideally Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, however candidates with relevant qualifications and/or experience are encouraged to apply
