Part-Time Teaching Assistant - Faith Primary School (Haringey)

Start Date: 1st September 2025

Contract: Until July 2026 (Full Academic Year)

Hours: 4 days per week, 08:30am - 3:30pm (with optional paid Breakfast Club and After School Club)

SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be supporting a highly regarded faith-based primary school in Haringey, known for its warm, inclusive atmosphere and strong sense of community. The school works closely with families to create an environment where every child is nurtured academically, socially, and spiritually.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join this caring school from September 2025, with the contract running until July 2026. This is a part-time role (4 days per week), supporting pupils in either KS1 or KS2, with the opportunity to take on additional paid hours assisting with the school's Breakfast Club and After School Club.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting children's learning within KS1 or KS2 classrooms

Assisting teachers with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and behaviour management

Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence, and enjoyment of learning

Promoting and upholding the school's faith values and community-focused ethos

Providing personalised support to help every child reach their full potential

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)

A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach to supporting pupils

A willingness to work as part of a collaborative and supportive team

An understanding and respect for the values of a faith school setting
