Teaching Assistant for Small Specialist Class – Trafford

Tradewind Manchester are supporting a two–form entry primary school based in Trafford to recruit an experienced SEND teaching assistant to work in one of their two Small Specialist Classes. It is a temporary position starting ASAP and will continue for most of the academic year.

This is a role working with 8–10 KS2 children who have been diagnosed with Autism so you must have a passion for supporting children with additional and complex needs. You will work alongside the SENCO and the teacher in the provision to meet the needs of the children. Consistency for the children is key so you must be able to commit full time. You will also help these pupils transition to mainstream lessons when needed.

A successful candidate must be:
