Location: Near WokingJob Type: Permanent, Full-time (Part time may be considered) Salary: Main scale/Upper scale (fringe)Start Date: January 2026 We are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate Teacher of Mathematics (20%) & Economics (80%) to join our thriving Sixth Form at a highly popular and successful Academy. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to inspiring students and achieving excellent results at both GCSE and A Level.

Day-to-day of the role:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Mathematics and Economics to students at GCSE and A Level.Foster a positive learning environment that stimulates student interest and engagement.Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.Assess, monitor, and report on the progress and attainment of students.Collaborate with colleagues within the faculty to enhance teaching practices and curriculum delivery.Participate in and contribute to staff meetings and professional development sessions. Required Skills & Qualifications:

A genuine passion for Mathematics and Economics.Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Experience teaching Mathematics and Economics at GCSE and A Level is highly desirable.Strong organisational and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a team of teachers.Commitment to professional development and reflective practice.
