T-Level Health Course Leader (Tutor)

Maternity cover (up to 12 months), September start

Salary: £28,870 - £36,590 per annum

Town Centre Campus, Burton-on-Trent

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable lecturer to join our outstanding team to teach on the T-Level in Health course.

This role is ideal for an experienced FE practitioner or a health and social care professional with a passion for education and learner development. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching, supporting learners to achieve both academic success and industry readiness.

You will be responsible for planning, preparing and assessing learning in line with awarding body and T Level requirements

The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge relevant to the T Level in Health, including:

Structure of health and healthcare services

Knowledge of legislation, regulation, policies and professional standards within health and social care settings (e.g. safeguarding, GDPR, equality, person-centred care)

Understanding of ethical practice, roles and responsibilities within the sector

An understanding of adult nursing, midwifery, mental health, care of children, and therapy teams

Familiarity with T Level delivery, including employer-set projects, synoptic assessment, and industry placementsApplicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
