Job Title: Supply Cover Supervisor

Location: Selby and surrounding areas

Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm

Salary: £100 - £120 per day (dependant on experience)

About the Role:

The Education Network is seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and reliable Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is looking to gain valuable experience in a school setting.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a classroom during the short-term absence of the class teacher. You will deliver pre-prepared lesson plans, ensure students remain on task, and maintain a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise classes across a range of subjects and year groups

Deliver lesson plans provided by teaching staff

Manage student behaviour in line with school policies

Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

Support students in their learning and encourage engagementWhat We’re Looking For:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively

A flexible and proactive approach to work

A genuine interest in education and supporting student developmentQualifications:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

Degree or relevant qualifications

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
