Job Title: Sport Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Location: Sixth Form College

Contract: Part-time, 4 days per week

Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sport Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a vibrant sixth form college. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people in both their academic studies and sporting development.

As a Sport LSA, you will work closely with students and teaching staff, providing tailored support in lessons, training sessions, and enrichment activities. You’ll help students stay motivated, engaged, and on track to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Support students in both classroom and sporting environments.

*

Assist with practical PE and sport-based sessions.

*

Provide one-to-one or small group support to students who may need additional help.

*

Encourage positive participation, resilience, and teamwork.

*

Help prepare resources and equipment for lessons and activities.

*

Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure all students can access learning.

Requirements:

*

A genuine interest in sport, fitness, and education.

*

Experience working with young people (preferred but not essential).

*

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

*

Ability to motivate and support students in achieving their potential.

*

Reliability, commitment, and a proactive attitude.
