SEND Tutor Needed - Northumberland

Location: Northumberland (home-based and community settings such as libraries)

Pay Rate: £27-£30 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 4:30pm

We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated SEND Tutors to support children and young people across Northumberland. Tuition sessions take place either in the learner's home or in a suitable public setting such as a local library.

About the Role

You will work on a one-to-one basis with learners who have:

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)

Additional learning needs requiring tailored educational supportThe role involves planning and delivering engaging, personalised tuition sessions that help learners achieve their academic, social, and emotional goals.

Essential Requirements

Proven experience working with SEND learners

Experience supporting children and young people with EHCPs

Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (essential)

Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learner needs xjnqpsq

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Reliable transport and willingness to travel within Northumberland
