Description
Are you currently looking for a rewarding role supporting children with special educational needs? Zest is currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant on behalf of a school near Tipton to support students with Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP). The ideal SEND Teaching Assistant will have previous experience in a similar role previously, or have transferrable skills and enthusiasm to learn the new role. The role is full-time and the ideal candidate will be able to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities of the SEND Teaching Assistant Assistant role:
* Supporting students with their class work
* Encouraging student engagement in activities and class discussions
* Assisting students with personal care needs when required
* Reporting back to class teacher with student progress

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years
