Location: Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire

Job Type: Full-Time | Term Time Only | Long-Term

Start Date: September 2025

Salary: £85–£100 per day

Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

Provide Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Scunthorpe to recruit a patient, caring, and committed SEND Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time role supporting children with additional needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.

Your Key Duties:

*

Supporting children with autism (ASC), ADHD, speech & language difficulties, or other SEND needs

*

Working 1:1 and in small groups to promote learning, independence, and wellbeing

*

Implementing EHCP targets, behaviour plans, and sensory strategies

*

Collaborating with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals

*

Promoting a calm, structured and inclusive classroom environment

Essential Criteria:

*

Experience supporting SEND pupils in a primary school setting

*

Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with children

*

Understanding of common additional needs (e.g. autism, SEMH, speech and language)

*

Patient, resilient and empathetic attitude

*

Relevant qualifications such as Level 2/3 TA, CACHE, or equivalent (desirable)
