Description

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant – September Start (Temp to Perm)

Location: Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire

Start Date: ASAP

Daily Rate: £90 - £100 Per Day

We are recruiting on behalf of a vibrant and inclusive primary school in the NG17 area. This school is part of the local community and caters to children aged 3–11

The school prides itself on a nurturing, child-centred ethos where every pupil is valued. They deliver a rich, creative curriculum in inspiring learning environments and place strong emphasis on personalised support and growth.

Your role will include:

Supporting pupils in lessons to help them access the curriculum according to their individual needs

Assisting with personal care when necessary

Implementing communication aids and strategies to support pupil expression

Encouraging independence, resilience, and confidence

Liaising and collaborating effectively with teachers, TA colleagues, and other professionals

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children, ideally with SEN or additional needs (in a school, care, or youth setting)

Is patient, flexible, and resilient

Can develop strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff

Shows initiative, professionalism, and a willingness to learn
