Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Longfield, Dartford

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Longfield, Dartford, to support a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN). If you have experience supporting children with PMLD, ASD, Complex Needs, SLD, MLD or other high needs, this could be the role for you!

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £85-£95 per day (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

Support children with SEN in achieving their learning and developmental goals.

Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

Work closely with other teachers and professionals to create tailored learning plans.

Provide direct support to children with high needs, including those with ASD, ADHD, and Non-Verbal communication needs.

Key Requirements:

Experience supporting children with SEN.

A passion for working inclusively with children with additional needs, especially ASD, ADHD, and Non-Verbal.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A nurturing and patient approach to supporting children's unique needs.

DBS Check required (We can assist with this).
