Location: Richmond Upon Thames, London

Pay: £90 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Long-term, with potential to become permanent

We are working with a number of outstanding primary and secondary schools in Richmond Upon Thames who are seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated teams. There are multiple positions available, offering excellent opportunities for passionate and committed individuals looking to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with additional needs.

The Role:

*

Supporting children with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and moderate learning difficulties.

*

Providing one-to-one support and small group interventions, tailored to individual needs.

*

Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCPs and personalised learning plans.

*

Encouraging independence, confidence, and social development in pupils.

*

Assisting with behaviour management and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

*

Minimum 2 years’ recent experience supporting children with SEN in a classroom environment.

*

Strong understanding of a range of special educational needs and effective strategies to support learning.

*

Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.

*

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

*

A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
