Learning Support Assistant – SEN School in Barnet

Some can be anxious or dysregulated. Many just need the right person beside them to help them feel safe and understood at school.

If you're calm, reliable, and genuinely want to support young people who learn differently this could be a great fit.

Experience working with children or young people with additional needs in schools or elsewhereA calm, grounded personality that can hold boundaries and build trustPeople who are dependable, observant, and don't shy away from difficult momentsSomeone open to learning new strategies and being part of a supportive, reflective teamAn Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to apply for one through usWhat the school offers:

A respectful, well–organised environment with a strong focus on emotional wellbeingIn–house training, including autism–specific strategies and behaviour support approachesA staff team that works together not in silosReal opportunities to stay long–term, train further, and develop a meaningful career in SENIf you live in or around Barnet and want to be part of a school that takes inclusion seriously and does it well then get in touch.
