Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Islington

Start date: September 2025

End date: July 2026

Daily rate: £82.14 - £100 per day

About the Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

Provide 1:1 support as an SEN Teaching Assistant to a child in Year 1 with specific learning needs

Help the pupil access the curriculum and maintain engagement in class activities

Collaborate closely with class teachers and SENCO to follow tailored education plans

Monitor and record progress, behaviour, and development as part of the wider SEN provision

Prior experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or Learning Support Assistant

Confident supporting pupils with additional needs, including speech, language, or behavioural difficulties

Passionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children's development

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
