Salary: GBP90 – GBP130 per day

Are you a caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role this September? GSL Education London Branch is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with special educational needs at secondary schools at Kensington & Chelsea.

Support students with special educational needs in the classroomHelp implement individual education plans (IEPs)Assist the teacher with classroom activities and behaviour managementProvide 1:1 or small group support when requiredEncourage student independence and social interactionWork closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents/carers Requirements for an SEN Teaching Assistant:

Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar support roleA kind, patient, and positive attitudeStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to build strong relationships with students and staffUnderstanding of different SEN needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or MLDA valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
