Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Woolwich, Greenwich

Start Date: Sept 25 – July 26

Contract Type: Full–Time, Long–Term

Salary: 90 – 103.10 per day

About the School: SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a large, mainstream primary school in the Greenwich area. The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos and has a supportive environment tailored to the needs of all students.

Role Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child within Early Years as a one–to–one support. This is a full–time, long–term position starting in September until the end of the academic year, offering the chance to make a significant impact in the lives of children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personalized one to one support to a child with a mild additional needsAssist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and other support staff to ensure cohesive support strategies.Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for all students.Monitor and record the progress of students, providing regular feedback to staff and parents.Utilize specialized strategies and interventions to support students' learning and development.Requirements:

Proven experience working with children with high needs in an SEN setting.Strong knowledge of SEN best practices and interventions.Happy to provide personal care as well as encouraging developments In this areaPatience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.Relevant qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or a related field are highly desirable.Benefits:
