Location: Erith, South East London

Contract: Full-time, Term-time only

Start Date: September 2025

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm, inclusive, and supportive primary school in Erith. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional support to thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD, and speech & language needs.

Assist the class teacher in adapting learning activities to meet individual needs.

Help to create a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment.

Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.

Support the emotional wellbeing and personal development of children.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential if you have the right attitude and willingness to learn).

A caring, patient, and empathetic approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.

A commitment to helping every child reach their full potential.

In Return, We Offer:

A welcoming and friendly team of colleagues.

Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

The chance to make a real and lasting impact on children’s lives.

If you are enthusiastic, nurturing, and ready to support our pupils in achieving their best, we would love to hear from you
