SEN Teaching Assistant Waltham Cross Per Day Full–Time September 2025 Start

Reeson Education is on the lookout for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Waltham Cross area. This is a full–time position starting in September 2025, perfect for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs in a primary school setting.

This school has a nurturing and structured environment and is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils 1:1 or in small groups, depending on needs such as ASD, ADHD, and speech and language delays. The role of a SEN Teaching Assistant here is crucial – you'll be helping children access learning, regulate behaviour, and make real progress both socially and academically.

Role Highlights for a SEN Teaching Assistant:

Full–time, term–time only (Mon–Fri)

Supporting children with a range of SEND in KS1 and KS2

Located in a supportive school in Waltham Cross

September 2025 start – interviewing and trial days taking place now

Daily rate of , depending on experience

We're Looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant Who:

Has prior experience supporting children with SEN (formal or informal)

Is patient, empathetic, and proactive

Has a good understanding of how to support pupils with autism, speech and language needs, or behavioural challenges

Is keen to work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to adapt support strategies

Is committed to improving outcomes for every child
