The School is situated in easily accessible location which offers flexibility from working in a classroom base and also one to one opportunities working with ages from 7 to 16 years.

Teaching Assistants are fundamental to the holistic progress of our pupils. We are looking for confident and energetic individuals to support learners with complex communication needs, many of whom are pre-verbal. Experience with complex needs in Early Years, Primary Special Needs Provisions is desirable for this role.

The School has excellent facilities and resources including a meeting rooms, classrooms, sensory rooms, a soft play space and a sound proof therapy space. This is an exciting opportunity in a school, with supportive and friendly staff, where you will be delivering an innovative curriculum for those with special needs. Essential Requirements:

Knowledge and understanding of special educational needs

Positive attitude and positive behaviour management philosophies

Positive attitude towards aiding inclusion of those with special needs

Desirable:

Qualifications relating to special educational needs

Experience working with children with autism with complex needs

8.30am to 3:30pm Mon - Fri
