Are you passionate about supporting children with complex and additional needs?

A well-resourced and supportive SEN school in Redbridge is looking for a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a specialist setting that caters to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and speech and communication needs.

About the Role:

*

Working closely with pupils with complex SEN, often on a 1:1 or small group basis

*

Supporting the class teacher in delivering individualised learning plans

*

Assisting with personal care and behaviour support where required

*

Helping create a safe, nurturing and structured learning environment

*

Using visual aids, sensory tools and alternative communication methods

The Ideal Candidate Will:

*

Have previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (school or care setting)

*

Be calm, resilient, and able to adapt to a variety of needs and situations

*

Have a patient and empathetic approach to behaviour and communication

*

Be a strong team player with a positive and proactive attitude

*

Be willing to support with personal care where needed
