Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Special Educational Needs)

Hours: Full–time, part–time, and flexible day–to–day roles available

Location: Mansfield

Pay: 85 – 100 per day (depending on qualifications and experience)

Start Date: September 2025

Monarch Education is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Mansfield. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, compassionate, and proactive–ready to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide both academic and emotional support to pupilsAssist teachers during lessons, helping with materials and classroom managementDeliver focused support to pupils with SEN, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant, or relevant experience working with childrenA caring and hands–on approach to supporting pupilsA current DBS check or willingness to apply for oneMonarch Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
