Join Our Team: SEN Teaching Assistant - Bristol

Location: Partner Primary School in Bristol

Start Date: September 2025 (or as soon as possible)

Hours: Full-time & Part-time roles available

Contract Type: Fixed-term & Permanent positions

We're working with a welcoming primary school in Bristol torecruit compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistants whothrive in inclusive, nurturing, and dynamic learning environments.

Your Role Will Include:

Providing tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs

Collaborating with class teachers and SENCOs to implement individual education plans (IEPs)

Creating a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment

Supporting pupils with communication, sensory, emotional, and behavioural needs

Assisting with classroom organisation, resources, and inclusive learning activities

What We're Looking For:

A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or other setting) - highly desirable

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification - an advantage, but not essential
