Teaching Assistant – Primary School in Islington– September 2025 Start

Pertemps Education is pleased to be working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Islington to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a full-time position starting in September 2025.

Contract Type: Full-Time

Salary: Competitive (depending on experience and qualifications)Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

Supporting pupils across a range of abilities in the classroom setting

Delivering targeted support to individuals or small groups, helping to close learning gaps

Assisting the class teacher with preparation and organisation of learning materials

Promoting positive behaviour, inclusion, and emotional wellbeing

Helping pupils develop their confidence, independence, and social skills

Collaborating with teachers, SEN staff, and other professionals to support pupil progressThe Ideal Candidate Will:

Have previous experience working in a primary school or educational setting

Be enthusiastic, patient, and proactive in supporting children's learning

Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

Work well as part of a team and show initiative when needed
