Are you a passionate SEN Teacher who can help young people with complex needs build confidence, develop independence and achieve their potential?

TimePlan Education is recruiting an SEN Teacher for an immediate start at a specialist secondary school in Aylesbury.

About the school

The school supports young people with a broad range of complex special educational needs, including severe learning difficulties and profound and multiple learning difficulties. Its personalised approach recognises that progress looks different for every pupil, with teaching adapted to individual learning, communication and developmental needs.

You will join a specialist setting where teachers, support staff and other professionals work together to help pupils access learning and develop essential skills for everyday life.

The role:

Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to pupils' individual needs.

Support pupils with complex learning difficulties, adapting teaching approaches and resources.

Develop pupils' communication, independence and social skills alongside their learning.

Assess and celebrate progress, contributing to individual targets and EHCP outcomes.

Work closely with teaching assistants, families and specialist professionals.

Create a safe, nurturing and positive classroom environment.

We are looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Experience teaching pupils with SEN, particularly severe or complex learning difficulties.

A flexible, patient and creative approach to teaching.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a classroom team.

A commitment to safeguarding and helping every pupil succeed.

Availability to start immediately.

Applications are welcome from teachers with experience in specialist settings, as well as mainstream teachers with relevant SEN experience who are looking to move into specialist education.

To apply, send your CV to TimePlan Education today to discuss the role with Simon.

Appointment is subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check and relevant safeguarding checks.
