SEN & Mental Health Support Assistant | Inner London | Daily Rate £110-£120

An inclusive Inner London school in Bexley is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN & Mental Health Support Assistant to join their team on a day-to-day basis, starting September 2025.

This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support children with Special Educational Needs who also require additional emotional and mental health care, helping them to succeed academically and personally in a nurturing environment.

ROLE DETAILS

SEN & Mental Health Support Assistant role

Outer London location (Bexley)

September 2025 start - Long-term no short term or day to day cover

Pay: £110 - £120 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications

Work collaboratively with SEN coordinators, pastoral staff, and external professionals to provide tailored supportPERSON SPECIFICATION

Interest in supporting children with SEN and mental health needs

Empathy, patience, and good communication skills

Willingness to learn and apply strategies to support emotional wellbeing and behaviour

Ability to adapt to individual pupil needs and work effectively within a team

Commitment to professional development, particularly in SEN and mental health awarenessSCHOOL DETAILS
