Learning Support Assistants - Special Educational Needs

Location: Bristol

Closing Date: 28 August 2025 at 11:59pm

Interview Date: 11 September 2025

Visa Sponsorship: Not available for this role

Start Date: As soon as possible (subject to notice period and DBS clearance)

Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only (39 weeks including 5 inset days)

Hours: 6.5 hours per day plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break (8:45am - 3:45pm)

Salary: Dependent on Local Government continuous service

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an OFSTED Outstanding special school supporting 167 children and young people aged 3 to 19 with a wide range of complex needs.

We are seeking to appoint dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work across our school sites as part of a skilled, caring, and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties, many of whom are on the Autistic Spectrum and may present with challenging behaviours.
