About the RoleWe're looking for a kind, patient, and enthusiastic SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team here at Class People. In this role, you'll be working closely with one pupil who needs extra support to help them succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Every day, you'll be making a real difference in this child's life - whether that's helping them access learning, build their confidence, or navigate the school day with a bit more ease. You'll be supported by the class teacher and our SENCO, and you'll be a key part of our inclusive, caring school community.

What You'll Be DoingSupporting a student 1:1, helping them with learning, communication, and emotional regulation throughout the school dayWorking alongside the class teacher to adapt lessons and resources to meet the pupil's needsHelping the pupil feel safe, calm, and included - both in the classroom and during less structured timesBuilding a positive, trusting relationship with the pupil and celebrating their progressWorking with our wider support team (including outside professionals) to help the pupil reach their full potentialWho We're Looking ForYou don't need to have years of experience - we're much more interested in your attitude and approach. If you're calm under pressure, genuinely care about helping children with additional needs, and are ready to learn, you'll fit right in.

Ideally, you'll also have:

Some experience working with children with SEN (e.g., autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs)A warm, patient, and consistent approach to behaviour and communicationGood communication skills and a positive team spiritA willingness to learn and take guidance from othersRelevant qualifications or training (nice to have, but not essential - we'll support your development)
