SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant

ABC Teachers are seeking experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to work within a mainstream primary school within the West Bromwich area.

You will be working on a 1:2 basis with children with SEHM who need someone who is nurturing but at the same time firm to ensure tasks get complete.

You will be working full-time from 08:30 – 15:30 5 days per week until the end of the academic year.

The right person needs to have a passion for supporting pupils, experience working with SEND particularly those with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and the ability to form good relationships with students.

To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant position, you will:

Have previous experience working with SEND children

Have suitable qualifications to work with young people

Have strong communications skills with all stakeholders

Able to cater to different children’s needs
