Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start

Location: Middleton, Greater Manchester

Contract: Full–Time, Temporary

Salary: 88– 95 per day

Hours: 8:20 AM – 3:10 PM, Monday to Friday

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Middleton. This role involves providing one–to–one support to students exhibiting challenging behaviours, aiming to foster positive relationships and enhance their learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Offer tailored support to students with complex behavioural needs.

Implement individualised behaviour management strategies.

Assist in the delivery of lessons, ensuring student engagement and participation.

Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor and track student progress.

Provide emotional and social support to students, promoting their well–being.

Requirements:

Experience working with students displaying challenging behaviours.

Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.

Ability to build rapport and trust with students.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting students.
