About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Science Technician to join a thriving secondary school, This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or experienced technician with a passion for science and supporting teaching staff in delivering engaging lessons.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing, setting up, and maintaining science equipment for practical experiments.

Supporting teachers in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons.

Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed in the lab at all times.

Managing stock levels and ordering resources when required.

Assisting in the maintenance of laboratories and preparation rooms.

Providing technical advice to both staff and students.

Requirements

A Science-related degree (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related field) OR relevant laboratory/technician experience.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of health and safety in a laboratory setting.

Previous experience in a school environment is desirable but not essential.
