Join us in Stevenage as a School Support Worker, where you'll support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs as a School Support Worker in the education and training . This role offers invaluable frontline experience highly regarded by NHS clinical teams and youth offending services alike.

This School Support Worker role is an exciting chance to gain practical experience in a school setting, building a strong foundation for future roles in clinical, educational, or justice sectors. Position: School Support Worker

Location: Stevenage

Pay: £460 - £500 per week

Hours: Full-time, 8:30am - 3:30pm

What We're Looking For:

A strong interest or background in mental health, SEN, or youth work

Ideally some experience working with vulnerable children or young adults

Someone local or willing to commute to Stevenage

A compassionate, reliable adult role model who can provide consistent support for young people facing complex challenges

Your Responsibilities:

Supporting students with SEMH, Autism, and ADHD

Working alongside school clinical teams to implement tailored support strategies

Assisting in delivering individual education plans (IEPs)

Promoting a safe, inclusive, and emotionally supportive learning environment
