School Site Manager - Hitchin

Description

Interaction Education are pleased to be working with a great school in Hertfordshire, who are currently looking for a Site Manager to oversee their school site, maintaining a safe and secure environment for the pupils and looking after the building and surrounding premises.

This role is a temporary role with a view to going permanent after a period of 12 weeks, allowing both candidate and school alike to "try before they buy".

The key responsibilities of the role will be as follows:

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of school buildings and grounds

Ensure health & safety regulations are met

Manage contractors and site-related projects

Open and close the premises, and respond to site emergencies

What We’re Looking For at Interaction Education:

A hands-on problem solver with good DIY/maintenance skills

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
