Job Title: School Business Manager
Location: Odyssey Collaborative Trust – Oakwood Junior School
Contract Type: Temporary (Immediate start – 17 July 2026)
Working Pattern: 2.5 or 3 days per week (flexible - can be full days or spread across the week)
About the Role
Odyssey Collaborative Trust is seeking an experienced and proactive Business Manager to support Oakwood Junior School during a period of staff absence. This temporary role is essential in ensuring the school continues to operate smoothly and maintains its commitment to providing a positive and effective learning environment for all pupils.
You will be a key part of the leadership and administration structure, contributing to the ongoing success of the school by overseeing daily operations and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and strategic oversight across core operational functions including:
Finance
HR
IT
Health & Safety
Premises & Facilities
GDPR/Data Management
Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the school office, aligning processes with school values and priorities.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to developing team capability.
Make effective use of school resources to support the School Development Plan and overall operational effectiveness.
