TeacherActive is proud to be working with schools across the Newcastle Upon Tyne region, and we’re currently seeking a School Administrator to join a welcoming and supportive Primary School.

The Role:

You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. The successful school administrator will be:

Managing phone and email enquiries

Updating pupil records and attendance

Supporting staff and parents with general enquiries

Handling administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry

Using school systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, or similar)

Requirements:

Previous experience as a school administrator or in similar administrative settings

Confident using Microsoft Office and school MIS systems

Excellent communication and organisation skills

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

A current enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
