Description

Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistants (TAs) to work in primary schools across Plymouth. As a supply TA, you’ll support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, working either with whole classes or on a small group/1:1 basis. These roles are ideal for candidates seeking flexibility around their availability, whether part-time or full-time.

Role Expectations:

Support class teachers in delivering lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment

Assist with classroom preparation, behaviour management, and pupil engagement

Provide tailored support to individual pupils where required

Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents/carers

What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children (school, youth work, or nursery setting)

A confident, professional, and caring approach

Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different schools and age groups

Level 2/3 TA qualification desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
