Primary Teaching Assistant | Sutton | £95 - £115 per day | Mon-Fri, 8:30am-3:30pm | Immediate Start
Long Term Futures is seeking a skilled Primary Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school community in the borough of Sutton. You will be a vital part of the support team, specialising in helping pupils with their academic and emotional well-being within Early Years or Key Stage 1. Our approach focuses on long-term, stable work, which offers the potential for a permanent role. We also use trial days in place of formal interviews to ensure the perfect fit for everyone.
Key Responsibilities
Provide essential classroom support to pupils.
Help to foster positive behaviour and social development.
Assist in building pupil confidence and self-esteem.
Work collaboratively with teachers on lesson planning and pupil progress.
Essential Requirements
Prior experience as a Primary Teaching Assistant.
Experience with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or Key Stage 1 (KS1).
A warm and supportive approach to helping young learners.
The ability to connect effectively with children, staff and parents.
