SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support

Contract: Full Time - Monday to Friday, 8.30am until 3.30pm

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Rate: £100 - £120 per day

Setting: Primary School

Location: Lambeth Borough

We are seeking a caring, dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide 1:1 support for a young boy in Year 2 with Autism.

This rewarding role will involve:

Supporting the pupil with their learning and social development in class.

Providing daily assistance with toileting needs in a respectful and sensitive manner.

Helping to create a calm, structured and nurturing environment.

Working closely with the class teacher, SENCo and parents to ensure consistent support.We are looking for someone who:

Is patient, empathetic and has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.

Can build positive and trusting relationships.

Has experience (or a strong interest) in working with children with Autism.

Is reliable, flexible and a team player.This is a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference in a child's life while developing your skills in a supportive and friendly school community.

Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:

A strong understanding of children with Autism.

Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student.

To be patient when working with the children.

The mindset to strive in a new environment.

Benefits/Schedule.SEN Teaching Assistant Standard Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with SEN ideally Autism.

An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) professional reference checks.

CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
