We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and well–regarded primary school in Severn Beach, near Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children across all phases of learning, helping them to access education in a way that suits their needs.

Location: Severn Beach, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, UK

Salary: 90 – 100 per day (dependent on experience, including holiday pay)

Contract Type: Term Time Only, Full–Time

Start Date: 1st September 2025

Primary Teaching Assistant responsibilities:

Support pupils in the classroom across all primary year groupsCreate and maintain a safe, engaging and positive learning environmentAssist with behaviour regulation using restorative practicesWork closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning supportEncourage and motivate pupils to reach their full potentialRequirements:

GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade A –C / 9–4) or equivalentA kind, patient, and compassionate approachWillingness to learn and work as part of a teamDesire to make a positive difference in the communityThis role is ideal for graduates seeking school–based experience before further training, or for individuals starting their career in education.
