Supporting students with special educational needs in mainstream lessons and small group sessions

Encouraging emotional regulation, resilience, and social interaction

Working alongside teachers to adapt learning materials and support inclusive teaching

Providing regular feedback on student progress and helping to shape individual support strategies

Promoting a calm, respectful, and engaging learning environment

We'd Love to Hear From You If You:

Have previous experience supporting students with SEN, particularly in a school or similar educational setting

Bring a patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach to your work

Can build strong, positive relationships with young people and staff alike

Are comfortable working as part of a collaborative, values-driven team

Hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential with relevant experience)

Why Join Long Term Futures?

Exclusive access to supportive school placements across Birmingham

PAYE pay structure - no umbrella companies or hidden deductions

A friendly, experienced team to guide and support you

Opportunities for permanent roles and career progression

Ongoing professional development and CPD training

If you're ready to take the next step in your education career and support students to thrive both academically and personally, we'd love to hear from you.
