Description
Milk Education is working in partnership with primary schools that are seeking reliable and committed Primary Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September.
Whether you're supporting small groups in KS1, working 1:1 in EYFS, or assisting with whole-class learning in KS2, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain meaningful classroom experience and make a real difference in pupils’ lives.
Role Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher with lesson delivery, classroom organisation, and behaviour management
* Provide targeted support to pupils, including those with SEND or additional needs
* Assist with learning activities, reading, phonics, and other curriculum tasks
* Help maintain a safe, calm, and positive learning environment
* Build strong, professional relationships with both staff and students
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children in an educational setting (school, nursery, tutoring, etc.)
* A passion for supporting young learners and helping them reach their full potential
* A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to classroom support
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Childcare, Psychology degree) are desirable but not essential
