Pay Rate: £88.94 – £104.84 per day (depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistants to join schools in Barton-upon-Humber. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in students' educational journeys, supporting teachers and pupils in creating a positive, nurturing learning environment.

As a Primary TA, your role will involve assisting with the delivery of lessons, helping students who need extra support, and ensuring that the classroom runs smoothly.

Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant:

Provide one-to-one or small group support to students, assisting with their academic development and learning activities.

Help with classroom management and create a positive, focused learning environment.

Support children with special educational needs (SEN), providing tailored assistance where needed.

Assist with the preparation of learning resources and support lesson delivery.

Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.

Encourage student participation and foster a love of learning.

Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant:

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within a primary school setting is desirable.

A patient, caring, and proactive approach to working with students.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students effectively.

A valid enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.

A full, up-to-date CV with clear explanations for any employment gap in the past 10 years.
