Primary SEN Teacher - Acton, West London

Start Date: Immediate

Daily Rate: GBP160-GBP270 (Dependent on Experience)

Contract Type: Temp to Perm

A well-regarded specialist provision in Acton is seeking a Primary SEN Teacher to join their team immediately. This temp-to-perm role offers a highly supportive environment, small class sizes, and a leadership team praised by Ofsted for its inclusive ethos and strong safeguarding culture.

You'll be working with a small group of six pupils, supported by a full-time LSA, in a setting designed to meet the needs of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to a group of six primary-aged pupilsDevelop and implement personalised learning plans based on EHCP targetsFoster a safe, structured, and emotionally supportive classroom environmentCollaborate with therapists, families, and external professionalsMonitor and report on pupil progress, contributing to multi-agency reviewsPromote emotional regulation, independence, and social developmentUphold safeguarding and compliance standards consistentlyCandidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - not suitable for Early Career TeachersProven experience teaching pupils with SEN, particularly ASD and SEMHStrong understanding of EHCPs, differentiation, and behaviour support strategiesEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)Confident, adaptable, and committed to inclusive, trauma-informed practiceThis is an excellent opportunity for a skilled SEN practitioner to make a meaningful impact in a well-supported and rewarding environment.
